So sorry for the radio silence lately. Sarah's been busy illustrating a new picture book. And I've been busy doing one of my all-time favorite things in the world: getting lost in beautiful places. This is my new favorite European city: Porto, Portugal. Isn't it fabuloso? I stayed in that bright yellow hotel on the other side of the Douro River.
I found out that none other than J.K. Rowling used to live in Porto . . . before Harry Potter. This bookstore (below left) was one of her favorite places. Wow, right? I spent as much time in this café (right).
