Hoppiness Is . . .

1/29/2016

I wanted to buy this painting from a Keysor student.
Hoppiness usually refers to a quality in malted beverages, but I like to think of it as the feeling of being so happy you could really hop, like a floppy-eared bunny. That's exactly how I felt when visiting schools in Kirkwood and Ladue, Missouri. Goodness, I made so many new friends! Thanks to everyone at Keysor, Robinson, Tillman, and Westchester Schools in Kirkwood and to my pals at Reed, Old Bonhomme, and the Fifth-Grade Center in Ladue for making me feel so *hoppy.*

I was especially lucky to visit Keysor Elementary on the 100th day of school. To celebrate, some students and teachers dressed like 100-year-olds. Others wore pajamas. I had the advantage of looking almost 100 years old while wearing a pajama-like dress. Wish I could pack a few of these cuties in my suitcase!
