I'm always so impressed by school librarians. Here's a fun idea from the can-do crew in Round Rock, Texas. Several fabulous librarians there invite students to bring their lunch-box or cafeteria tray to the library, where they can eat lunch and listen to a tasty book, read aloud by a librarian, who presumably gobbles her lunch before the kids arrive. I think companies should offer the same service for adults. Wouldn't that be so nice and relaxing? I also think more librarians should run for public office, but that's another topic.
I returned home from Texas last night to find my mailbox filled with postcards (see picture above) from my new pals at St. Paul's School for Girls in Brooklandville, Maryland. Aren't they great? St. Paul's girls are card-carrying geniuses.
